"In India the refrigerated cargo was first exported in 1956 in the refrigerated ship’s store hold from Bombay to Dubai in British India’s passenger vessels. Our firm was fortunate to be a part of this shipment as we were its clearing agent. Since then we have been handling almost all sorts of Refrigerated Cargo, be it seafood, meat, chicken, eggs, fruits, vegetables, ice-cream, cheese, medicines, chemicals etc. Over the years we have grown in experience and the know-how in handling such consignments. We understand the commodity what we handle, therefore adopt the ways and means to handle the same such as, it’s shelf life, quality, supplier’s needs and accordingly select the transit time and shipping lines with ultra modern containers etc. The shipping lines and statutory authorities for this specialised commodity, seek our opinions on the policies and carriage of these cargoes to safeguard their own interest. For inland transportation of this highly perishable cargo, we have our own fleet of container chassis with prime movers and generators to transport refrigerated cargo from shipper’s doorstep to the port area with uninterrupted power supply. We have on-line facilities to monitor consignments throughout its journey with all the main line shipping operators. We have well trained experienced and cordial staff to look after the needs of the cargo.
